Judith I. Bridgland
Ben Loyal with Foxgloves
Oil on Panel
2nd - 27th June 2018
One of Scotlands most vibrant landscape painters, Judith uses bold, vigorous, rhythmical strokes of impasto paint combined with delicate brushwork to give an exciting texture and a sense of abstraction to her work. This vivid collection of works is based on Judiths travels on the North Coast 500 as she has been inspired by the breath taking variety of astonishing mountains, rugged coastlines, and isolated moorland on the road, as well as Scotlands heritage and history and this is reflected in her work. Judiths work will be complemented with works by one of the countrys most gifted ceramicists, Anne Morrison.
