Rebecca Halstead

Rebecca was born in East Yorkshire in 1964 and studied at Edinburgh College of Art from 1982-86 graduating with a BA (Hons) in Design. She followed this with a one year Post Graduate course.She worked as a Designer with Hof Jewellery, Old Bond Street, London from 1988-89 and with Johnson Matthey Plc, Birmingham from 1989-91. Rebecca then decided to return to Scotland and she set up her own workshop in Edinburgh in 1991. At the same time she went back to Edinburgh College of Art - this time as a Part-time tutor teaching a drawing and construction workshop to 1st Year students.

Since returning to Scotland, Rebecca has shown her work in eight Solo and numerous exhibitions throughout Scotland and also in Dublin. She is a regular exhibitor with "DAZZLE" in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton and London.
