Born in Perth in 1997, Erraid spent her childhood growing up on the Black Isle in the north of Scotland and her adolescence in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Having also travelled extensively throughout Asia and Australia, she has been exposed throughout her life, to different cities and cultures, the wilderness and outback.
One of the gallerys youngest artists, Erraid has just recently graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee in 2020, after studying Fine Art there from 2016. She is currently based in Perthshire, working from her studio in Dundee, but she also considers Australia to be home after the time she has spent there.
Erraid is a modern abstract expressionist artist, whose vivid landscapes are based on memory and imagination, rather than copying nature.
