Anna is a ceramicist based in Crieff, Perthshire. She grew up in a suburb of Nottingham and always dreamed of having a café and craft shop. She gaining a diploma in catering and hotel management followed by a food marketing degree. After graduating, Anna worked with BBC Birmingham and on the programme Countryfile, which was a job that she loved.
In 2003, Anna moved up to Glasgow with her now husband, Neil. From there, and with Neil's support, Anna had the chance to explore and potentially fulfil her creative dreams. She undertook a national certificate in Ceramic Art in the Environment and, with the support and teaching of a first class tutor, Anna was accepted on to the Ceramic Degree course at the Glasgow School of Art in 2005. It was at this time that Anna became pregnant with her first child, and she set aside her studies to concentrate on being a mum to her two children.
