Ingrid Phillips

Ingrid initially did an Art and Design Foundation course between 1989-90 at Leith College of Art, which was followed by three years at Edinburgh College of Art. From 1993-97 she worked as a Glass Assistant for David Kaplan, Selkirk; Pernille Bulow Glass, Denmark; Adrienne McStay, Newport-on-Tay; Robbie Campbell, Fife; The Glass Museum, Denmark and also at the Glass Department of Edinburgh College of Art. In 1997 Ingrid returned to Edinburgh College of Art to complete her Degree course, graduating this year with BA(Hons) (First Class) in Glass and Architectural Glass. In July of this year she was awarded a scholarship to attend Pilchuck Glass School, Seattle, USA. She was Artist in Residence, Northlands Creative Glass, Lybster and has also commenced a Masters Degree at Edinburgh College of Art.
