Andrew Brown and Hamish Walker have been friends since Secondary school and have always shared a love of furniture. After leaving school they spent 18 months working and travelling in America. On their return to the UK they began working in the antiques business, collecting and packing containers which were bound for America and Canada, as well as restoring antique pine furniture (mainly Georgian and Victorian pine). Then with their restoration skills they began restoring wood in period homes. As their business grew, it seemed the natural step to start making furniture as well as restoring it.
Andrew and Hamish use Scottish hardwood sourced from all over Scotland, from Ullapool to Inzievar. They only select the most exciting wood. Sustainability and good design are at the heart of what they create.
