Jackie Philip

Jackie was born in Edinburgh in 1961 and studied at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen from 1978-79. She then graduated with BA (Hons) 1st Class Fine Art, Painting at Wimbledon School of Art, London in 1983. She continued her studies until 1986 with a MA Fine Art, Painting course at the Royal Academy Schools, London. Jackie has received several Scholarships including an Italian Government Scholarship, Andre de Sezonzac Scholarship and the British Institute Award.She exhibits regularly with the Royal Academy in London, the RGI and the Scottish Academy and shows her work in many solo and group exhibitions throughout the UK and also in Hong Kong, Barbados and New Zealand. Jackie has also over the years lectured at the Fortman Studios, Florence; BTec Diploma in Art & Design, Newham Community College, London and was Head of Painting, Hungry Creek Art School, New Zealand.
