Jack achieved a First Class Honours in Painting & Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art in 2007. There he won both the Standard Life Award, Landscape Painting, and the Landscape Drawing Prize. For The Jolomo Scottish Landscape Awards in 2009, Jack was awarded a third equal place, receiving £2,500 prize money.
His work is exhibited in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and California. In 2007 Jack went to the Painting Department of Berlin Academy, Berlin, as part of a student exchange program. Jack currently lives and works as Artist in Residence at Lomond School in Helensburgh.
